The read-me rules from the Offshore Wind – Project & Vessel Book, as written.
Split — Vessel owners
Owns prompt/open hulls. Stamp a hull onto a farm here. Do not ping Frank for the same open SOV.
Split — Public tenders
Owns TED / national notices. Reference the tender. Do not rebuild the digest.
What we own
Who develops the farm; when it installs; who the subcontractors are; which vessels are working there; what is still unnamed.
Monetisable only
Every logged line must be able to become a fixture or a call this month. Upcoming farms stay on Projects when an install window is dated and a package is still open or unknown. Skip directory maintenance and historical backfills.
Start wide then prune
First weeks scan all Active names. After several quiet weekday scans demote Daily → weekly → monthly → off. Stamp Last seen every scan. Last hit only on a real farm; fixture; or IR hit.
Never invent
Never invent dayrates; hulls; or in-house coverage. Blank = not disclosed. Coverage values: named / open / in-house / unknown. in-house only if the contractor’s own unit is clearly assigned.
SSY coverage
Do not assign SSY employees to companies. Frank assigns the book.
Chat Frank
Only when there is unnamed vessel demand or an open/prompt hull someone at SSY can work. One line: who; farm; vessel type; why; who to call. Stay quiet if every new line is named or in-house.
Write path
